Our recent stay at La Distillerie was a memorable family getaway. Nestled in a charming, albeit slightly worn, historical home, the property offered ample space for our young daughters to explore. The family room was more like an apartment, featuring two bedrooms and a cozy sitting area-a perfect setup for our needs. Each morning, we indulged in a delightful continental breakfast prepared by the lovely Madame Sophie, who treated us with warmth and perfect English. Her homemade jams were a hit with the kids, and it was wonderful to bond over freshly baked goods. The outdoor space was a highlight, with a large garden and inviting pool where our girls splashed around happily. In the evenings, we enjoyed quiet walks in the picturesque square, discovering a cute bar for some local flavor. While the dinner options were simple and homestyle, the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed. With excellent parking and proximity to local attractions, we would happily return on our next trip.
